Ingredients
DRESSING: 3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tsp mustard powder
1 Tbs brown sugar
1 Tbs malt vinegar
1 Tbs lemon juice
salt, to taste
cracked black pepper, to taste
SLAW: 8 oz green cabbage, thinly sliced
8 oz purple cabbage, thinly sliced
2 carrots, peeled and shredded
3 stalks celery, trimmed and thinly sliced
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 white onion, thinly sliced
Directions
  1. Combine dressing ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk to combine. Add slaw ingredients; toss to combine. Transfer slaw to serving dish.
  2. Note: To shred carrots, use a julienne peeler. This looks like a conventional vegetable peeler, but it has little “teeth” that help create strips of vegetables.
